Sergio Parrado

With latin roots and born in Spain, Sergio started playing between Europe and Latin America.

He started his career at the legendary club Camarote (one of the pioneers of techno music in Spain), which allowed him to start acting very early in the competitive Spanish circuit.

After years full of performances, in 2001 he was invited to participate in the Tech-fest Festival in Santiago de Chile, where he got amazed by the wealth of sounds that was emerging in the Andean country at that time, making a rollover of 180 degrees in Sergio’s musical concept. The Micro-house was born and this style marked his artistic career.

For years, he combined his role at the plates with a radio-showman and broadcaster job for different Spanish programs of electronic music and in radios like Cadena 100, Mortal FM or sets in Ibiza Global Radio, which is considered as the best electronic music station of all times, about he is also a music journalist in DJMAG & THUMP.

As a DJ he has taken his suitcase to over 30 countries between Europe and America, being a resident dj and guest dj in American clubs as “La Covacha” and “Do not Sit” in Miami, “La Feria” and “Club de Sol” in Santiago, “Mint” in Buenos Aires, “Blue Parrot”,”Mamitas”, “Industria” and “Bizarro” in Lima, and “Mushrooms” in Cuzco, “Club Times” in Quito, “Mythology” “Octava” Bogota, “La Buat” Panama , “Blue Parrot” Playa del Carmen, “Nuba” Paris…and Spanish clubs as “Privilege” and “Departures” in Ibiza, “Madrid Arena” and “Soma” in Madrid, “Razzmatazz” and “Fellini” in Barcelona, “Friends” and “Play” in Valencia, “La Real” in Asturias, etc.

He has participated in numerous festivals, for examble “SOS” in Brussels, “BPM” or “Coincidance” in Playa del Carmen and “Klubbers Day” in Madrid.

As a producer he collaborates and publishes his material in major international labels as Bedrock, Trapez, Bondage, Beatwax, King Street, Limonada Records, Series, Mile End Records, among others.

His tracks are often included in sets, charts and CD mixes of famed artists as Carl Cox, Luciano, Loco Dice, John Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Ralph Lawson, Yousef ,Pete Tong, Patrick Topping,Matthias Tazzman,Pete Tong and a lot more.

Currently he runs two record labels: “My Little Dog” and “911”. In “My Little Dog” he brings together the best of European and American electronic scene, counting among its ranks on artists like Edu Imbernon, Markus Homm, SIS, Alland Byallo, Aldo Cadiz, Marco Effe, Maysam Shawnecy, Alejandro Vivanco, Tony Dee, Hollen, Mollono Bass, Ronan Portela, Mario Aureo or Sebo. For its part, “911” (Nine Eleven Records) is a more personal work in which captures his passion for the music of Chicago and Detroit, exclusively printed on vinyl.

His technique, exquisite musical selection and constant connection with the public makes Parrado’s shows unforgetable and full of positive energy.
